The Physiotheory Clinic is pleased to offer physiotherapy consultations to eligible patients via Telehealth. The introduction of this service is in response to the COVID -19 pandemic, keeping in line with the government recommendations to limit face-to-face interactions where possible. These telehealth consultations will aim to deliver the same level of care, advice and treatment as the current in-clinic physiotherapy service.

The telehealth services are available for eligible clients to be claimed under medicare as per the new bulk-billed items for COVID-19 up until the 30th of September 2020. We also allow a time frame for clients to set up their telehealth services as we understand that this is a new and different method of accessing our services.

Unfortunately, there are currently no existing health funds who are able to provide telehealth services and support to their customers. We are constantly keeping an eye out for any upcoming changes to this!

As a result, clients who are ineligible to claim telehealth services under the new Medicare item numbers can still access the telehealth services provided by The Physiotheory Clinic and pay an out-of-pocket fee. The following prices apply:

• Initial consultation (45mins) – $79
   

• Subsequent consultation (30mins) – $49
