A mobile physiotherapist or exercise physiologist, as provided by The Physiotheory Clinic, is a health professional that is able to come to any location within the specified areas to help treat a range of health conditions. There can be many reasons as to why someone would need to see a physiotherapist or exercise physiologist in their home. Reasons such as inability to drive due to post-operative restrictions, difficulty finding time due to other commitments, or can even be due to pain limiting factors.
The Physiotheory Clinic are able to provide this mobile physiotherapy services in the Parramatta and Sydney region to help deliver services that you would require. They are also able to bring equipment required, such as resistance bands, massage table, ankle weights, oils and acupuncture needles depending on what is necessary. The services that can be provided to you from a private practice setting, can also be provided to you from the comfort of your own home, using a mobile physio.
Conditions that can be treated at home include , post-op surgeries such as total knee/hip replacements, muscle/joint pain, muscle weakness, chronic conditions (asthma, diabetes, hypertension) and a range of other conditions. Each condition will vary as to how they would be treated, but are shown to have a good effect when being treated in the comfort of their own home.
